Skybus Virtual is seeking enthusiastic and safety-focused First Officers to operate our Airbus A319, A320, and A321 fleet across North America and beyond. As an FO, you’ll fly scheduled routes, maintain high operational standards, and represent Skybus Virtual with professionalism on the VATSIM network. This role is ideal for pilots who enjoy structured virtual airline operations, realistic procedures, and a team-driven environment.
Requirements
- Active VATSIM account in good standing
- Familiarity with Airbus A319/A320/A321 aircraft systems
- Access to a supported Airbus addon (Fenix, FBW, FSLabs, etc.)
- Ability to follow Skybus SOPs, checklists, and dispatch releases
- Stable internet connection suitable for online flying
- Professional and respectful conduct during all online operations
Job Duties
- Operate scheduled Skybus Virtual A319/A320/A321 flights on VATSIM
- Follow company SOPs, checklists, and dispatch guidance
- Maintain consistent pilot activity and complete assigned routes
- Communicate professionally with ATC and crew
- Participate in events, hub flights, and periodic training updates
- Log flights accurately in the ACARS system
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented pilot culture
Qualifications
- Prior experience flying Airbus aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator or X-Plane
- Familiarity with SimBrief, Navigraph, and virtual airline operations
- Understanding of IFR procedures and phraseology
- Experience participating in VATSIM events
- Knowledge of Skybus destinations and network structure
