In a significant leadership transition, Skybus Virtual Airlines has announced the departure of Ryan Badger from his position as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Ryan Badger, who has been instrumental in shaping the airline’s operational strategies and growth over the past several months, will be stepping down to assume a new role as an advisor on the Skybus Board of Directors.
During his tenure as COO, Badger oversaw numerous successful initiatives, including the expansion of new routes, and the enhancement of the airline’s operational efficiency. His leadership has been pivotal in driving the airline’s mission to offer affordable, reliable, and efficient services to virtual passengers across its network.

As Ryan Badger transitions into his advisory role, Skybus is pleased to announce the appointment of Nate Power as the new Chief Operating Officer. Nate Power, who brings a wealth of experience in airline operations and management, is set to take the helm and continue the airline’s upward trajectory.
Nate Power brings a wealth of aviation experience to Skybus, honed through his diverse roles in operations in the real world at some of Canada’s largest airlines. In his current role at Flair, he has been instrumental in acting as the primary point of contact for the network and ensuring effective communication across departments. His expertise in planning and coordinating flight schedules, handling day-of operations, and conducting thorough delay investigations has been vital in minimizing disruptions.
As the new COO at Skybus, Nate looks forward to leveraging his experience to enhance the airline’s operational efficiency and improve the experience for all. He is excited to collaborate with the executive team to implement innovative solutions that streamline processes, optimize flight operations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
